Linda Falco

Linda Falco was 44, divorced with a son in his second year in college and a daughter who was a senior in high school. She owned an interior design company and was president of the PTA. She was a yoga enthusiast and loved to show her curves in ways that were subtle but sexy. She was also cheating on her best friend by sleeping with her husband.

One early Saturday afternoon, Linda was on her back porch talking to her lover on the phone while she waited for some of her friends to come over for tea. She heard a car drive up then a few moments later, the doorbell rang.

Linda answered the door and saw her best friend Sophia holding a gold envelope with embossed black letters spelling Linda's name. "This was on the front step."

"Hmmm, thanks," said Linda. She hugged and air kissed Sophia. They went inside and Linda opened the envelope to find a black card with something in gold written on it.
