"Come inside! My dad isn't going home anytime soon."
You enter Ashley's home, it's a small apartment, quite modest but clean.
"So... This is where you live..." You say as you look around curiously.
"You like it?" She's stuffing her fridge.
"Yeah... It's cozy."
"We can go to my room if you want." SHe says, closing the fridge's door with a slap.
"S-sure." You feel like your shyness is unjustified by the fact the two of you already had sex, but that doesn't improve your charisma.
Her bedroom is the way you expected, kinda, there aren't any big DND posters on the walls, but it's a comfy room with a computer and a tv, the walls are a warm orange and the bed looks very soft and squashy as you sit on it.
"So, you want to get demolished again?" She's handing you a controller, and of course, you can't let her provoke you like this.
"I know your combos now, we'll see who's the best."
She giggles, "I guess everyone would learn them after losing so many times."
You take the character you always do, and you put in your all, you avoid her hits and use all the tips you saw on the web... and at the end...
...
You win! You jump on your feet as you savor your victory! "I fucking did it! Finally!"
"Hmm... I guess it wasn't all bluff..." She doesn't look as disappointed as you imagined.
"Want to play another round?" You ask still basking in your win.
"No, I think we played enough already."
"Are you a so-"
She interrupts your taunt with a kiss, which lasts a long time. "John, please leave before my father comes home..." When she makes this expression you simply can't say no to her.
You decide to go home, in a pretty good mood. You arrive home, still pretty early in the evening.
Kana is playing chess against your mom, you look at them for a while, they don't notice you. Then, Kana plays a move, and you wait for a while, at some point, your mom stands up, and moves to the other side of the table, still fully studying the board.
"I don't understand what you're trying to play right now..." She says, not getting unfocused.
"Who's winning?"
They look at you in surprise, "Oh, you're home?" says your mom, and Kana answers, "Your mom is winning.".
Right no surprise there, she was always great at figuring people out.
You sit next to Kana, and as you look at the chessboard, you know she's already lost, at this point you would have surrendered, but she keeps playing. In fact, she even manages to almost turn the situation around but it's not enough and your mom takes the win.
"Okay kids, now let me cook you something before night falls."
You again, spend a quiet night. Unaware of the things happening at the same time.
