Let them lead the conversation

"Are you asking me or telling me?" Chris looked at Roxie with a grin.

Smack!

Roxie gave Chris a painful punch in the ribs. "You are so bad.... god..."

She turned to look at me in the back seat. "I was just making conversation because I know Mindy is going to be bored sleeping in her own tent."

"That will be bad," Chris responded. "Especially if wolves come around."

Smack!

"Ouch..." Chris rubbed his ribs again.

"Besides... you both know I have never been with a woman."

"I've never been with two women at the same time," Chris added then covered his ribs before he could get punched again.

"I don't want to get in your way." I hastily added to the conversation.

"Mindy your my best friend. You won't get in the way."

"What do you think Chris?" Roxie turned to look at him.

"I'm...."

"Never mind. He won't care. We can all share the same tent."

"OK. I'm fine with that." I hastily answered.

We pulled up to our camping area and got out of the car. Chris hauled most of the supplies while Roxie and I set up camp. She had bought enough food to last us two weeks out here.
