Let her zap you too

"Okay, if I look like Claire I need to pass for Claire," you tell the apparent Katie who's really your girlfriend Jessica rather than her kid sister. "Zap me with that thing."

She does. Your sister Claire's memories flood into your mind, and your very self seems to change. You feel your Claire face take on a typical Claire expression and your Claire body her typical posture. "Well, Claire?" asks Katie. "You should be able to act and think like David but it'll be a bit of work, so just be your new self."

"Thanks, I will," you say, and apart from hearing your voice from inside this head, you sound entirely like your original to the least nuance. "Katie, I've got a girl crush on you -- not that I'd admit it if we weren't other people inside! And it's my crush, not my brother David's!"

"Likewise," says Katie. "I wish I hadn't set up dates for us with boys. How do you feel about Scott now?"

"Actually," you say, "as Claire I'm not sure about him either, just I don't want to have to admit to Dave that he's right. Oh, well, we'd better get going so we won't keep our dates waiting at my house."

You and Katie leave her house and walk to yours, and apart from a few of the things you say to each other, there's not the least indication that she isn't the real Katie and you're not the real Claire. Your Claire eyeglasses strike you as normal, as do your Claire clothes and your entire Claire body. Is this a side-effect of the zap from the brown "pen"? Did it make you want to be Claire permanently rather than David? You actually feel as if you're finally the real you and David was not who you should have been.
