Let her go, but leave the possibility open

You release Katherine's wrist and stand up from the booth.

"I'm not going to let a woman like you get away so easily," you smile warmly, "you're my kind of girl. Ambitious, knows what she wants."

"Th-thanks," that blush and coy smile again, it makes her look so hot. You want to push her back on the table and take her in the middle of the bar, but you know sometimes waiting is worth it.

"Alright, I'll walk you to your car," you say, casually sliding an arm around her waist. She doesn't seem to mind.

"I will schedule your next appointment for nine in the evening," she says softly as you walk down the sidewalk. "I assume night works better for your plan."

"Hopefully it won't matter," you say, "but the cover of darkness is always a plus when you're doing really naughty things."

"Should I arm myself?" You consider her question briefly.

"No, if you're caught with a gun it will be a disaster. The same way for me. If I walk in their with a pistol or a blade I will probably be ejected from the facility."

You reach her car, she touches a ring on her thumb and with a barely audible crackle disables the security field surrounding the burgundy BMW. On the spur of the moment you give her a strong hug, feeling her body press against yours, warm and welcoming. Again you restrain yourself from lowering her to the hood of her vehicle and making love to her there.

"Two days Katherine," you smile, pulling back.

"Katie," she replies, "my friends call me Katie."

"Two days Katie," you wink as you back away towards your own car, "but we're more than friends. We're partners."

The ride home you roll the possibilities to come over in your mind. You need to purchase several things, but your also concerned with Mr. Tanaka taking offense to you blowing off your meeting. On the other hand, you're way too fucking tired to worry about that now. With a sigh, you toss your jacket over a chair inside your apartment and collapse onto your bed.
