Let her answer

"It's at my friend Sabrina's place," she says, "and I think there will be three other people there. She told me she invited our mutual friends Courtney and Stacey, plus a girl I don't know very well named Tasha who is a transfer from Russia. As far as I know she speaks good English."

"Are there any other guys there except me?"

Beth looks straight ahead at the road.

"It was supposed to be a girl's night but I convinced my friends to let you come along since you don't know anyone, plus I reassured them that you were cool. I don't think Stacey was very happy about it but she gave in when Courtney and Sabrina said yes."

My sister pulls in a parking spot outside another building and turns off the car. We unbuckle our seatbelts and get out of the car. Following my sister, we walk to a door. Beth knocks on the door, and we wait for a moment for it to open up.
