Chapter 12 by SecondOrion SecondOrion

What should I do?

Let's Head to Class

Routine is hard to break. I hear the bell, I head to class. Well, it's not like I actually intend to attend it normally. With Helen as my puppet, I'm sure that she can help sweep everything under the rug. I still haven't seen her leave the previous classroom, so I go ahead and walk inside. True to my expectations, she's in there.

"Ohhh Helen!" I call her name jovially, enjoying her expression as she blanches. "You know, I thought of a few things you could do for me! Aren't you glad?" she nods furiously at my rhetorical. This clearly isn't normal behavior. I don't actually have anything over her. Knowing one of her Skills is barely **** material, and she is still way stronger than me, so she has no reason to be afraid. This just goes to show the power of Holy Authority I guess.

"First things first, hold your hand out." she does as I bid, and I activate Tutor. The scroll appears between us, and she starts to read it. "I didn't tell you that you get to know what I'm doing. Just hit accept." she does so, and I feel a huge rush of power. I quickly check my status.

Ripley Dewbend (Lv. 30 Tutor)

HP: 3156/3156

MP: 339/349

Skills

(Passive) Head Start: Initial level +30

Acquire Skill I (Cost: 150 MP): The user gains basic knowledge of a skill that a tutee wishes to learn. Requires at least one tutee.

Tutor II (Cost: 10 MP): The quintessential ability of a tutor. The user forms a tutoring contract with a tutee, granting the following benefits:

...

(Passive) Holy Authority: The user gains divine presence, causing others to wholeheartedly respect, trust, and submit to the user upon first meeting. (Unaffected by resistances and immunities) Warning: May have differing effects on those who have been in contact with a deity.

(Passive) Endless Education: Tutor will always be stronger than tutees. All attribute points automatically raise whenever tutee attribute is above tutor's.

(Passive) Delegation: In the event that the user is watching their tutees engage in combat, and is not participating themselves, the user will receive immunity to all status effects, as well as all different types of damage and all different types of magic. The tutees will also experience a minor boost to attributes and skills depending on class and level.

Dominate II (Cost: 100 MP): Suppress the will of a target. Target will immediately change their mind about their most recent vocal decision. Warning: This does not work on an unspoken decision. The final decision will be whatever the target considers the opposite of the original decision. Warning: How they feel about the decision will change to how they feel about the final decision.

(Passive) Knowledge is Power: The total number of Skills owned by the user and their tutees is added to every attribute.

Now the Attributes.

Knowledge is Power: +29 to all

Endless Education: [+?]

Attributes:

STR: 12 (+61) [Zlixlas: 44]

DEX: 17 (+33) [Helen: 21]

CON: 11 (+78) [Zlixlas: 60]

INT: 19 (+72) [Helen: 62]

WIS: 10 (+59) [Helen: 40]

CHA: 6 (+101) [Zlixlas: 78]

My status sheet is getting long. Good thing I can customize what I see with just a bit of concentration. The super high numbers on my Attributes were getting disorienting, so I just focused a little and got to see how Endless Education affects each stat. I'm not sure how Helen got such high INT and WIS stats, but I guess you can't be the principal of an educational facility without being well-learned and experienced yourself. At least in her case. Through what I've gained because of Knowledge is Power, I know that Helen is at least Level 50. The kind of experience gain necessary to naturally level up to that height is immense, especially for such a young woman. Luckily for me, I don't have to do any of that! It never ceases to amaze me how much of a shortcut I've been granted. Well, I'm getting later and later for my next class, not that it matters, but I'll try and finish up anyways. I open my eyes, and find that Helen doesn't seem to have adopted the same weird blank patience that Lily did. Is that unique to her? I'm not entirely sure, but whatever it is I'm glad for it. As for Helen, the only change I can see is that she just looks a little less nervous.

"Secondly, I want you to help me test my limits. In a moment I'm going to go into my next class, and I want you to make sure nobody leaves. Also, you're on damage control. If something goes wrong, you're going to fix it. I don't know how, but you are."

"Yes Master." her voice echoes in the empty room.

I plan to go all out with this test. I'm throwing caution to the wind. I step into the hallway setting course towards my next class, Helen following obediently behind me. I make it to the door, ready to test. Neither Laura or Crowley are in my class for Anatomy of Monsters, so I'm free to test without messing with my plans for either of them. Gathering courage, I open the door.

As the door shuts behind me, I know that Helen is blocking it. It's showtime. The instructor looks my way. A clean shaven old man, still with a full head of gray hairs on his head. Normally, I would be immediately treated to a written notice of detention in my hands, but this time, none comes. So far so good. Now for the hard part.

"Excuse me sir! Could you please leave the room!" this is a clear disrespect of his position, asking him to leave in the middle of his own class. Still, he does it anyways. As he stands, I tell Helen to let him out. Once the instructor is gone, the next phase of my test begins. The students, lacking a teacher, have started chatting amongst themselves, as if nothing is out of place.

"All the guys, please go stand at the bottom under the board." dutifully, they all clambered down from their chairs, and wandered to the front of the class. Nobody even seemed confused. Nobody questioned why they were doing this.

"The guys, go ahead and turn around to face the board, crouch down, and make sure to remain silent." still no questioning, and no expressions of displeasure, just placid obedience.

"Now, everyone in the room, chant 'Ripley is our God' over and over." as the sound of the chants filled the room, a smile bloomed on my face. To manipulate such a large group of people, at no MP Cost, is incredible. As time went on, the chants became more and more in tune, until every person in the room was chanting perfectly in unison.

"Stop!" I shout over the chorus of voices. The room immediately falls silent. "Guys, you may leave." I say it loud enough so Helen knows to let them out. Soon after, I am alone in a room of women pleasantly chatting to each other, seeing nothing wrong with the situation. Of course, not every woman is attractive, particularly the orc girls, so I go ahead and pick out the least attractive ones and let them go as well. With my selected group of exclusively attractive women, its time to begin the final test.

Are you ready for the fun to begin?
