Leonard gets rejected.

Leonard, Sheldon and Penny just have a talk. After a while they just ready to leave again and the conversation comes to an end. Sheldon already walks away and Leonard just turns around.

"Hey penny.... Would you maybe like to go on a date with me. We could grab a bite to eat and maybe have some drinks afterwards..." Leonard suggests.

"Ooohw, that is just so sweet of you to ask. But i am already dating somebody. I am sorry Leonard." Penny responds.

Leonard just walks away to his own apartment and feels kind of bad being rejected like that. He had never seen her with a date or anything. He knew she broke up some time ago but wasn't sure she was already dating somebody new.
