“Uhm Alright, let’s go left.” Bryan says to Kathryn

“What do you mean left? There’s more than one exit? A…are we lost? L…let’s go back. Please?” Kathryn’s voice is edging towards panic in her sightless state. Bryan is feeling really bad for her, especially since he couldn’t even sympathize with her. Or at least not convincingly. Not without sounding patronizing.

“No Kathryn, we’re not lost. I just don’t see Jasmine is all.”

“She ditched us?” She asks. "And please, call me Kate."

“I don’t think intentionally.” I hope, he thinks to himself. “Come on, we’ll try one more room, and if I don’t hear anything, we’ll go back okay?”

“O…okay. This is embarrassing.”

Bryan turns to face her and pulls her towards him. He feels her breasts mash against his chest, and he wraps his other arm around her mashing them further. Bryan feels her arms wrap around him also, “No worries, okay? We’ll get out of here.”

She rests her head on his chest for moment, and he could have sworn he heard a sniff. “Okay.” She says after a moment. She lingers in the hug for a second, then lets go.

Gripping her hand tightly Bryan walks through the portal to his left.
