"Then I choose to leave" you said, getting up. You walked into the bedroom where you had some stuff that belonged to you and gathered it all up.

"What?" Alexandra asked.

"Look, maybe you had a point about me sleeping with May, but guess what? You deciding who I get to talk to is not the way" you said.

"But.." she said. Apparently she had not expected resistance.

"No, Alexandra. You gave me an ultimatum and I chose one option. I'm out" you told her, walking past her and out the door. After you got down to your car you texted May. For some reason it seemed like she was the only person you could talk to about this entire thing.

'So it seems I just broke up with Alex' you sent her.

'I know. I'm talking to her now' came the almost immediate reply.

'Call me later. I'm heading home' you told her before putting your phone on the seat next to you and starting your car.

"Hey honey" your mom said, "what brings you back home?"

"Alex and I broke up" you told her.

"Aw, honey! Are you okay?" she asked.

"Sure, mom. More confused than anything" you said, but to preempt any more questions, you shrugged. "She was getting a little controlling all of a sudden."

"Didn't you try talking it out?" your mom wanted to know.

"She just gave me an ultimatum. You know how I get when people do that to me" you said. Just then your phone vibrated in your pocket. You took it out and saw that it was May. "I have to get this" you told your mom.

"Alexandra?" she asked. You shook your head.

"A friend" you said. "I'll be right back." You walked to your room and closed the door behind you before picking up.

"Hey John" May said. "How are you doing?"

"A little confused, to be honest. Maybe I overreacted" you told her.

"Confused?" May said. "No, I get it. I know it's a weird thing to be when you're a porn star, even if only an amateur, but Alexandra is insanely jealous."

"Look, I kind of get it. You and I probably shouldn't have had more sex outside of the films, but..." you said.

"But what?" May wanted to know.

"You're hot and the sex is awesome. We obviously get along well and there's also a history between us. Well, you and my hand" you told her. Hearing this made May laugh.

"You're right, John. The sex we have is awesome. But that other stuff sounds like something else" May teased.

"What does it sound like?" you asked.

May grinned. "Like you want to be my boyfriend" she teased.

"Shut up" you said with a laugh. "How would it look if I went to you immediately?"

"Not good for you. Good for me, though" May told you.

"I bet. But problem is I just broke up with your friend and our colleague. That'd be very bad" you replied.

"Alright, so we'll wait a few weeks" she said.

"Wait, what? Are you saying you want to get with me?" you asked.

"I wouldn't mind" May replied.

"Neither would I" you told her with a smile to yourself. "But not yet."

"Fine, not yet" she agreed. You nodded even though she couldn't see. Seconds after that your phone vibrated again, making you look at the screen.

"Hang on, May. It's Max" you told her.

"Alright, call me back when you're ready" she said in return. "Bye for now." You said bye to her too then answered Max's call.

"So what's this Alex told me? You broke up with her?" he asked.

"Uh...hi?" you said. "We did and I'm not sure how that is any of your business."

"John, you signed a contract. You can't just stop having sex with Alexandra" Max told you.

"Jesus, really? You're going to be like that? Now?" you said.

"I really don't care what your personal feelings for Alexandra are. You were contracted to fuck her and fuck her you will. Unless you want me to sue you" he said.

"For fuck's sake, Max. I thought you were an okay guy" you told him.

"I am if you keep your end of the bargain" he said. "But if you don't, well, I'll sue you for breach of contract."

"That's great. Thanks, Max" you said, hanging up on him.

"What did he want?" May asked after you called her back.

"He's also given me an ultimatum. What's with people and ultimatums today?" you asked, more to yourself. "Either I keep on fucking Alexandra or he sues me."

"Wow..what a douche. I'll go talk to him" May replied.

"You don't need to" you told her.

"Remember how I said he would do anything for me? I think I can make him an offer" she told you.

"What, you'll suck his dick?" you asked. Hearing this May laughed.

"He wishes! All I have to do is bat my eyes at him and he'll do whatever I want. Now don't you go and forget to wait for me, okay? I want you all to myself" she told you before saying goodbye and hanging up.
