Leave work.

Elizabeth balled up her fist and slammed the office door. Paul came after her, but Elizabeth was already on the sale's floor before he made it out of his office. Elizabeth knocked over a clothes rack and a display case. Customers watched in awe as the angry girl marched through the store and onto the promenade.

"Elizabeth!" yelled Paul. "This is coming out of your check."

Elizabeth turned around and shot him a double bird. An older couple walked by and gasped. A mother covered her child's eyes. Elizabeth stormed out of the mall and found her car in the parking lot. She started the ignition and screeched out onto the main road.

She had always known Paul was a sick bastard, but this was the first time she had ever experienced first hand. There had been a few occasions where he'd been staring at her a little too long, but today was ridiculous. He had asked her to undress in front of him twice for god's sake. Whose boss does that?

As she sped home, it dawned on her that she still had a date tonight with Sam. Could he cheer her up? What would she tell him?

Calm down and think it through.

I can just tell him that Paul made some advances toward me and I left work. That's all. I don't need to say he caught me with a guy in the dressing room and...

Elizabeth began to cry.

When she pulled into the driveway, she looked at herself in the rear-view mirror. Her mascara was running down her face and she looked like a mess. She then realized she had left her other clothes in the dressing room, but said to hell with it.

Elizabeth walked up the porch steps and entered her home. Her mother was sitting on the couch in the living room.

"What happened?" she asked.

"I had a bad day at work," Elizabeth answered.

Her mother cut off the TV.

"Do you want to talk about it?" said her mother.

"Not really," she said. "Well...it's kind of weird...and I..."

"You can tell me when you're ready," her mother said.
