Leave the nursery in her baby outfit

Michelle poked her head out the secret door. She looked back and forth. Of course, the house was empty. She lived alone after all. Michelle crawled on her hands and knees out of the nursery, shutting the bookshelf door as she did.

She crawled to the living room, giggling as she sat down in front of the television turning it on. She flipped to PBS Kids and clapped her hands along to the Teletubbies theme song as the sun baby rose over the hill.

The living room had a big window that looked out the backyard and was near the front entrance way. Michelle was usually cautious, but as she watched the Teletubbies dancing along as Poe splashed around in a puddle, Michelle found herself absorbed, unconcerned about anything else that may be happening.
