Head east, and enter the Shrinking Wood.

You know you won't make it very fair going through the southern plains with all those bandits about. Of course, the forest has it's own dangers as well. You ventured here many times as a child, but you never went past the Wishing Rock. A landmark very unmarkable except for how big it is, your mother told you it was called that because if you venture past it, you'll wish you were dead. You've heard tales of the Manic Pixies which frolic in this forest, and of the savage huntresses who haunt the lower edges of the forest in search of the most dangerous game.

Up ahead, you finally reach the giant boulder you called Wishing Rock as a kid. The boulder is both much smaller and much closer to the edge of the forest than you remember. The dirt path you've been following goes around and past the rock, but you could you go off the path if you're feeling superstitious, at the risk of getting lost.
