Chapter 4 by Stephendings Stephendings

What do you do?

Leave her and head home.

“I’m feeling better,” she says. “Thanks so much for helping me, I’m lucky that I bumped into you.”

“Or unlucky, depending on how you look at it,” you say with a wink.

She stands up to go. “It was nice meeting you, Chris.”

“You too, Tina.”

She gives waves goodbye and you part ways.

As you walk out towards a different exit, you notice a pink bag on the floor. Tina must have left it behind, you think to yourself. You pick it up and snap a photo of it from the outside. You log on to your social media account, and type “Tina Holy Cross School” in the search bar. You see her face in the second profile picture. You click on her profile, then the messaging button, and then you upload the pic of the bag.

“Forgetting something?” you add to the message.

You drive home and bring the bags to your room. Your phone died on the ride home, so you plug it in and put the bags in your closet. You have dinner with your parents, play some video games, then go up to your room and check your phone. You see three messages from Tina:

“Thanks so much! Please don’t look inside!”, and...

“Hello?”, and...

“OMG I’m so embarrassed. Write back!”
