Lea doesn't fire

After about 10 seconds Lea still hasn't pulled the trigger, you open your eyes to see she's lowered the gun.

"Why did you give up the gun knowing I would shoot you?" She asked.

Looking at the two women you pause to gather your thoughts, and decide to tell them the truth.

"I used to be an average guy with an average life. I had a girlfriend, a decent job, and was thinking about asking her to marry me. Never would I thought I would kill anyone and I definitely never would have thought I could commit ****." You tell them.

Gwen looks at you with a weird expression on her face. "That doesn't explain why." she says.

"I figured if you shot me, I more than deserved it, I'm not asking you to forgive me but I'm sorry." You tell them.

The two women look at each for a moment and after a moment Lea nods.

"For some strange reason, given what you fucking did to me, I believe you. If you want to try and make it up to us were could use your help." Lea says.

"What do you need me to do?" You say wanting to somehow make amends.

"I don't know if you know but apparently among the survivors, at least here, they seem to be mainly men." Gwen says to you, while getting dressed.

"All of them we've encountered have been brutal assholes, in fact even though you **** us you're the only man we've observed since the plague that's felt any remorse for his actions." Lea tells you, warily the gun still pointed in your general direction.

"There used to be five of us up until three days ago, when the place we were staying was attacked by a group of men working for someone called the Colonel." Gwen tells you.

Seeing you not going anywhere Lea puts the gun down, but with in reach, and starts putting her clothes back on as well.

"I take it the colonels men took your three friends captive." You say.

"Yes they did, we made the bastards pay but we were outnumbered." Lea says angrily.

"Me and Lea followed them and they took them to a high rise about a mile from here where this 'Militia' has set up operations." Gwen says, now fully clothed.

"The point is, you can go places where we cant you can infiltrate the militia for us and free our friends if they're still alive." Lea tells you.

It would be extremely dangerous, but what they say does make sense and you do OWE them.
