Launch an on the dragon’s den

I couldn’t give up now that I’ve gotten this close to the dragons lair. ‘I still know where I am and where it sleeps. I might have a weapon me, but with all the loot a dragon steals there must be a weapon somewhere!’

North talked himself into it he’s off to become a dragon slayer. With his newfound determination North set on foot to the dragon lair. He would hear and see the dragon flying above confirming he was going in the right direction. Than he made it to his destination.

The rumors were wrong. It wasn’t a den. This dragon had a whole castle, old and forgotten, to itself. I hear a swooshing sound & duck behind a tree before I see the dragon flying into a hole on the tallest tower. ‘Yes this is the place’.

The draw bridge is down, but is broken and looks unstable. I turn to the right and see a rise in the moat ‘Maybe if I throw some dirt on it I could walk across’.
