Later's Fine

"Later's fine princess. A couple hours either way won't harm anything." He watched her in silence, mesmerized by his daughter, this young women who'd not only given him something he'd not had from Suki in ages, but was fulfilling his fantasies, and her's as well this weekend. He'd not read far enough into her diary, into that little fantasy of her's to know if she wanted his babies, or if she was content just to be his lover. She'd reacted how he'd expect if she was worried about getting pregnant, so perhaps not. He had to admit though, the idea she could get pregnant with his child, give him the baby that Suki couldn't, was appealing, and he wondered if he could sabotage the contents of the bag between them.

There was no limo driver or limo for that manor, he had choose to drive on his own as most of the staff had already been dismissed for this holiday weekend. The sleek Audi moved quickly down the city lane until trees from the large park started to appear. He entered the park's entrance, and took the more scenic route, that lead deeper into the woods, closer to the lake and camp grounds. There were many nature trails in that area.

Noriko climbed into the car with her father, buckling in as he drove them out to a park near the coffee shop, one he'd spoken of as a place he and her mother went for walks, and to talk. Going deeper into the woods, she watched the trees pass by, before they came to a clearing and a place to park. She glanced around as she stepped out. "It's beautiful Dad. I take it you took Mom here when you were dating?"

There was a bit of guilt in his face. "I brought Alex's Mom here, when we dated...I really did not date your mom as long, but yes did bring her here too when you and Alex were young. He remembers but not sure if you were too young to remember. I used to have to get you an ice cream from over there to keep you from being bored." he pointed to where it looked like at one time a Food truck was parked, now it was a barren spot, with a dirty public washroom in the distance and a empty parking lot of gravel. "This part does not get as many tourists now the small boardwalk mini mall has been built with food and carnival prizes on the west side of the park. progress ..." he sighed and took her hand, a worn wooden sign read three paths each in a carved shape of the animal. "So the bear trail is a more rugged hilly path, The Eagle trail takes us to the lake, and the Squirrel trail is more of a easy kiddie path."

"I don't I'm afraid dad." Noriko admitted as they pulled into the parking spot. She took his offered hand as they stepped out of the car, going to what looked like a trail head of sorts, with symbols to denote the path. "Let's walk along the lake, sounds fun. And not super hilly as I didn't bring proper walking shoes." She gave his hand a squeeze as they started down the path. "Can this be our special place to go when we want out of the house together?"
