Laron decides she needs a Goddess's touch, and goes back in time to eat Zelda, or rather Hylia.

It was then that it occurred to Laron: she may feel like a goddess now, but if she devoured Hylia, who she now knew to be Zelda, she would truly hold the power of a goddess! But she lay in the past...but an idea quickly came to her. Idly, she reached down, carved the Sealed Temple from the ground below it, and ate it all. Doing so, she consumed the ancient woman, Groose, and the Gate of Time. With that magic inside her, it only took a minor effort of will for Laron to travel back to the ancient world, and immediately she did the same as before, but now in that building there was Impa...and Hylia.
