Soon you're jumping at every little sound and walking steadily faster to try and find the bus stop again. When you saw a shadowy figure approaching down the alley you'd hurriedly stepped inside the nearest building. Which left you here, waiting with baited breath to see if the figure saw you or not.

You took shaky but quiet breaths, listening intently for footsteps. Your mind started graphically imagining what could happen to a lone college girl in the middle of the night ... in the shady side of town ... with zero defenses. Dammit! You knew you should have grabbed the pepper spray before you headed out with Kat! Oh, I'll stick to you like glue! Bullshit! That girl was a total flake, you never should have believed her! Somehow she'd convinced you to wear this skanky outfit to boot! The brief flash of anger distracts you from your fear for a moment...

...but it returns with a vengeance when you hear quick footsteps just outside the door. A frenetic clicking sounds from your shaking hand and you clench down painfully on your keys, heart stopping as the footsteps falter outside the door. You look around wildly around for a weapon, a place to hide, anything! You spot an old pipe next to the door and your eye catches on the white fabric in the next room...
