Lana gives the terms

Lana sheathed her rapier and after a moment the leader of the assassin's followed suit.

"As I said, you're people are strong, but you don't have the numbers. And I take it these men were hired out. That's your normal operating procedure."

It was common knowledge that most of the Cryn assassins traveled on ships they had bartered for. The crews were mostly sellswords or paid sailors with nothing to do with the Cryn army. This allowed the assassins to travel on ships known usually for being cargo ships and trader vessels.

The leader of the assassins nodded once and Lana continued.

"So we let you board our ship and we work together. I assume you are heading to Riversnake for the Vault just like us. So we find it and break whatever seal is in place and split the find. We get eighty percent."

There was a hiss of disapproval from several of the assassins, but their leader raised a hand and they went silent.

"Might I ask why you get the majority?"

Lana flashed a bright smile and nodded to Alistair who explained.

"You're not sailors so you haven't noticed it yet. This ship took enough damage that its sinking. I noticed that a few minutes into the fighting that this deck is now lower than that of our ship. Even if by some miricle you manage to best us and take our ship, that leaves you with too few to sail and based on your lack of observation of this ship, I doubt you would even know which way to go. Basically, this is your choice: Stay here and sink or come with us and at least get something to take back with ya."

The leader of the assassins nodded again and closed her eyes in thought.
