Lae’zel

Lae’zel strained against her chains, the fierce Githyanki warrior’s inner fire undimmed by the defeat of the rest of her friends. The fighters armour was scorched and melted, wound that would have felled any number of others barely seemed to affect her as she kept fighting against her bonds.

‘The Emperor’ looked on, within the Mind Flayers mind part of him rebelled as best it could, but with the Elder Brain in control once more, the Emperors body was used as the avatar by which the Elder Brain would observe the destruction of the dream guardians former charges.

“Lae’zel…you will submit. One way or another. Kneel.”

At the command, the parasite squirmed and the Githyanki fell to her knees, legs spreading as she panted in extortion. Sweat dripped down her face as she still sought to resist the Elder’s Brains control over her.

“The Absolute knows it could command you to do the things it desires from you. But instead the Absolute desires that you submit to them without the parasite forcing you too. I’m sorry.”

The Emperor steps away, levitating up out the way as the doors of the cell Lae’zel is chained in open and a hulking ogre enters the room, the smell of the huge creature filling the room as it idly scratches itself.

“Lae’zel…give the Ogres organ some lubrication. Make it easier on yourself.”

The Emperor spoke, almost pleading.
