LT Day 9 - Tell Tiff everything

"Yes," you say.

You confess everything to Tiff. You are not the villain, but then again... you have also done some bad things to Lotte. You tell Tiff the whole truth, and it takes several minutes.

It feels good to tell someone, but it's also difficult. It's embarrassing, even more embarrassing than that video.

Tiff listens, horrified by Lotte's behavior.

When you are done you wipe your eyes and tell ask her what you should do.

"You shouldn't do anything," she says. "I'll take this to FUTA. You stay here. I'll have Lara come and sit with you."

Tiff leaves, and you sit on her bed, feeling totally drained and anxious. Lotte is always a step ahead. What if she predicted this? What if she's already discredited you somehow? What if nobody believes you?

Maybe it would've been better if you hadn't said anything.

Lara arrives and sits with you, putting her arm around you. She's heard the rumors, but doesn't say anything. It's not fun, but it's better with her there.

Eventually Tiff comes back to her cabin.

"I talked to Annette and the producers. Apparently some other people have complained about Lotte too. Your story was enough to convince them that it was time to reprimand her. So she's going to face some discipline, and she won't be able to play in tomorrow's game," Tiff reports.

Wow.

"That's good, right?" Lara says, rubbing your shoulder.

"Not for Red Team," Tiff says. "They only get a sub for injury, not for misconduct... so they'll be at a disadvantage. We better hope they don't find out Riley's responsible, or there could be drama. But it's good. No matter how much Lotte likes being evil, she probably cares more about staying in FUTA. This is a big opportunity. She's not going to blow it for her pride. So I think you shouldn't have to worry about her anymore," Tiff tells you.

"Thank god," you say. You will still have nightmares about her. This has been so traumatic. "But now I feel bad for Red Team. It's not fair to the rest of them."

"We can't change it now. Riley, you have to take care of yourself. I'm glad you told me," Tiff says.

You are too, but it's not as simple as everyone living happily ever after. You walk back to the cabin with Lara. Now she knows about the embarrassing stuff that's happened, and Tiff does... and there's rumors about the video, even if the video's down. You might be safe from Lotte, but what about Red Team? What if they lose?

You came here to play soccer, but things got really complicated.

Lara stays with you as you get ready for bed, and gives you a quick kiss and rubs your back.

"It'll be OK," she says.

You hope so. All you want to do is rest, but... it's all just going through your mind over and over. Sleeping is hard. You hope these rumors don't reach your family. It's a rough night.
