Kyoko Kirigiri

After looking through them, Makoto settled on testing his first action on Kyoko. Yeah, it was definitely the most disruptive of the actions, but it was the only one that had little effort and he could pass off as an accident. He guessed Hina's wasn't too difficult, but he didn't want people to question why he asked her to do it instead of doing it himself.

He made his way up to the dining hall, where almost everyone minus Byakuya was gathered around the table.

"Makoto!" Taka shouted. "You're late!"

"Sorry, sorry," Makoto replied. "I slept in."

"Be more responsible next time!" Taka scolded.

Makoto walked towards the kitchen.

"Where are you going?" Celeste asked. "Our meeting is waiting."

"Why don't you start without me?" Makoto asked. "I'm just really thirsty. I'll be back with a glass of water in what... thirty seconds?"

"Fine, hurry it up," she replied. Makoto nervously went to the kitchen and filled up a glass cup with water. Then, moving back, he moved right past Kyoko as he "accidentally" spilled half the glass on her head.

"Dude..." Mondo said. "Not cool."

"Watch where you're moving, man!" Leon scolded.

"It's... It's fine," Kyoko replied.

"S-Sorry..." he replied. Of course it wouldn't work. Something like that was physically impossible.

"Need a towel?" Makoto asked. No response. "Hello?"

The entirety of the table went silent. No movements, no speaking, nothing. He waved his hand in front of Kyoko's face.

"Action Successful." Kyoko said in a monotone, almost robotic voice. "Passive Trigger Unlocked: Dress Lightly. Clean Up Time: Two Minutes"

"W-What? What just happened? Did the thing actually work?"

He walked around for a bit, poking everyone and waving his hands in front of them. No one replied, but it wasn't exactly like they were frozen in time.

Once he got back to his seat, conversation returned like normal.

"So, did anyone find anything?" Taka asked.

"I..." Kyoko said, then suddenly looking around and touching her head. "Why is my hair wet?"

Oh... she didn't remember him spilling it on her. So this... this whole thing is real? But what does 'Dress Lightly' mean?

"Yeah, has it been wet this whole time?" Hina asked. "I don't think it was."

"That's strange," she replied. "Whatever. It's not important."

Time continued as they discussed things that Makoto really wasn't paying attention to. He was still trying to comprehend what happened. Once the meeting broke, however, Makoto went and pulled out his handbook.

The first thing he noticed was that Kyoko's action changed. It now displayed:

(1) Kyoko Kirigiri: Shake her right hand with your left. (Red)

The number at the start seemed to get booted up one as well. But he was more intrigued by what Kyoko said about her trigger. He moved over to the other tab and observed her triggers.

Kyoko Kirigiri Triggers:

• Dress Lightly (Passive): She will only wear what she needs to maintain her outward appearance.

What? What the hell did that mean? Only wearing what she needs to maintain her outside appearance?

"I don't get this," he muttered. The fact that everyone froze for a bit once he spilled water on her made him 100% Monokuma wasn't lying about his power. But what did this mean?

He moved back to the home screen with the charts of the girls. The timer seemed to have reset to 24 hours, so he figured he should probably hold off on making any moves to extend the amount of time with the least amount of actions. But at the same time, he kind of wanted to see someone else's trigger.

His curiosity got the better of him.
