Kyoko's plan

Kyoko began to stride towards Celeste's door.

"Wait! Kyoko! What are you gonna do?" he asked in a panic.

"Don't worry. Just go to the rec room on the second floor" she said with a grin.

"Wait but--" he began. Kyoko stopped and turned to him, and his eyes immediately went to her breasts.

"You said.." she started, before crossing her arms again. His eyes moved up to meet hers.

"You said you trust me, right? So trust me" she said. But it wasn't her goading him. Her voice, and eyes, were warm. She really wanted to help.

Makoto smiled, before turning and walking off.

"Oh, and get some drinks from the kitchen" she called after him.

He arrived at the Rec room, a case of bottled water, and a case of soda in hand. And because it was Celeste, he also brought some tea and sugar. And just in case, some protein powder. Then he just sat there... waiting. Until eventually the door opened again.

And in walked a group of people lead by Kyoko.

Kyoko sat down beside Makoto at the table. Celeste came after, followed by the still bikini clad Hina, as well as Leon, Sakura, and Mondo.

"Alright! We're gettin' a card game going, yeah?" Mondo said with an eager smile.

"This will be no simple card game. Otherwise I would not be here." Celeste huffed as she sat down, pulling out a deck of cards.

"Whatever man. This'll still be fun. Can't believe this was Kyoko's idea though!" Leon snickered.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Kyoko replied. Leon's face flashed with worry.

"U-uh... I mean... listen I'm just saying you seemed a little too serious to suggest something like this. But I guess I just jumped the gun on judging you. Sorry"

"Least he's man enough to admit when he's wrong" Mondo replied.

"Hey uh... guys? Can we start?" Hina asked as she leaned forward, her cleavage on full display for everyone.

"Hell yeah! Pass around the drinks Makoto!" Leon boomed.

Makoto grabbed the drinks.

"Let's see... I knew Celeste would prefer tea. I got some protein powder for Sakura... though do you mind if I take some too?" he asked, trying to kill two birds with one stone.

"You are trying to get stronger?" she asked "In that case, help yourself"

Makoto passed the drinks around and poured some protein into his water.

As the game began... everyone froze.

"Action successful" both Celeste and Sakura said at once. Though Celeste's voice sounded... different somehow. Not just that it was monotone. There was something else going on. It was like she lost her accent.

"Passive Trigger Unlocked: A true maid" she said.

"Passive Trigger Unlocked: A new me" Sakura said.

"Cleanup time: two minutes" both droned again.

Makoto looked down at his handbook.

The first thing he saw... was his new status.

He decided to look at their triggers.

"Very funny, Monokuma" he sighed, then looked at Sakura's.

Sakura Ogami Triggers:

A New Me: She's a bit too much woman for you, huh? Time for a downgrade! (check back tomorrow)

"A downgrade... what the hell does all this mean?" he asked himself.

He had been reading a while and trying to put all this together. He didn't really have time for messing around, and soon the room returned to normal.

After a quick round of poker, which Celeste won, her new programming came out.

"Shall I clean the cards off the table and prepare a second round, Master Makoto?" she asked, directing her eyes to him.

"Anyone else think it's kinda bullshit that Makoto got to bring his assistant AND his maid along?" Mondo grumbled.

"Well it's not HIS fault. We were all thrown in here. If you wanna blame someone, blame Monokuma" Hina added.

"Master Makoto?" Celeste prompted for a reply.

"Sure. That would be great. And please, feel free to keep doing it at the end of each round. No need to keep asking" he said.

"Understood" she said with a smile.

The game continued into the evening. Celeste, for the most part, was her usual self. Overconfident, condescending, and cocky... But not to Makoto. When she won, she apologized to him. If she said something rude, she made it a point to say he was excluded.

As the group all had a great time swapping stories, playing, and laughing. But in the back of his mind Makoto was planning... and Kyoko was aware. She could tell.

As everyone dispersed for the night, Makoto began to return to his room, Kyoko and Celeste in tow

"Would you like me to prepare your room for bed, Master Makoto?" she asked

"Sure. Go ahead" he answered, leaving him and Kyoko alone.

"So?" she said

"So?"

"So what next?" she asked.

"I'm working on plans, don't worry"

"Plans for who?"

He pondered a moment. She could be really helpful, but he didn't want to tell her EVERYTHING he needed to do. At least, not yet.

"All the girls" he said.

"And what do you need from them?" she asked.

"A bunch of things... don't worry Kyoko. If I need some help I'll ask."

"Understood" she answered as she walked towards her room... then stopped and turned around.

"Wait. Does 'all the girls' include me?"

Makoto didn't answer. He simply said "Goodnight Kyoko" as he headed into his room.
