Kuo

“Kuo, lets go.” Cole said, jumping onto the Transfer Device. “Our powers work best together. Let’s do this.”

Kuo agreed, and strapped herself in. It was a familiar feeling being here, but a bad one. Nix was furious.

“Oh screw you babe, it shoulda been me! ‘Can’t believe you choose this frigid bitch over me! Screw this, I’m outta here!” Nix yelled, before teleporting off.

“Let’s forget about her for now.” Kuo said, with tension in her voice. “This is going to feel awful Cole. Like someone is ripping your body apart and putting it back together.”

“I understand. Zeke,” Cole called to his best friend. “strap me in tight. Don’t want anything going wrong.”

“Sure bud.” And with that, and straps and cuffs that held Cole and Kuo were as tight as could be. Cole started to charge the Device, and as it reacted to the Blast Core, the pain started surging though the two Conduits, almost unbearable. But, they could feel their powers going through one another, making them stronger. This was going to work out.

That is, until Nix returned.

Pissed off, Nix teleported back, and started screaming how it should’ve been her and Cole, together. Something must’ve truly snapped in her, as she launched out a giant napalm grenade, hitting and exploding on Cole’s side before vanishing.

The process was starting to go horribly wrong, and Cole’s damaged half of the device started malfunctioning. It felt like he was giving more than he was taking, and there was no to stop the process now. Then, suddenly, the Machine let out one final surge of power, and then exploded, knocking everyone ****.
