Kitsune

Kitsune? Yes, Kitsune... See, I have fox ears on my head and a fox tail extending from my tailbone but otherwise, I look rather human. My race is known for out ability to create illusions to trick others and of course, shapeshifting. We also has connection to magic, allowing us to cast spells, especially fire and poison.

Yes, shapeshifting... as in turning into a fox for better mobility and all around enhanced senses. On the other hand, when we turn into our animal form, we won't be able to cast magic or using tools. Though useful for tracking, its not for much else.

Naturally, leather or cloth base equipments are my equipment of choice since metal armor would just be getting in the way.
