Kim tells Ron about everything that's gone wrong in her life and prepares to go home and sleep.

“I’m sorry Ron, I know I’ve really screwed things up. Everything I’ve done since we graduated seems to be backfiring on me. Most of it I don’t care about. I don’t care that Bonnie seduced the dean of admissions and managed to get me blacklisted from the school you and I were planning on attending. I don’t care that someone managed to get embarrassing pictures of me and spread them on the internet. Hell, I don’t even care that my parents found the blacklist letter, the pictures and some booze in my room and are seriously threatening to kick me out if I don’t shape up and fix all this. I mean, I did care about all that until I broke your heart Ron and now I realize all that really matters to me is you. That’s why I’ve done so much to try and win you back but I ended up doing all that wrong too! It’s late, maybe I should go home and let both of us get some sleep. If you want I’ll come by in the morning with the stuff you left at my house.” Kim offered, sounding completely defeated as she slowly headed towards the window.

This was the first Ron had heard of any of these issues. Ron had no idea Kim’s life was deteriorating right before her eyes. It seemed kind of petty to him but while part of Ron felt horrible for Kim another part of him was angry at her as well. They were supposed to be best friends and lovers yet she kept all this from him.

Ron was torn as to whether he should comfort Kim or yell at her again.
