Kenith Wulf, a highly observant nerd. Until now.

Kenith Wulf laid on the bed in his room, thinking. As a typical nerd, he was usually picked on by the more popular students, even if they became less aggressive and more polite as time went on. Today's events reminded him of that unfavorable part of his past.

When Professor Hedgerow's machine dragged him into its pod, everyone started freaking out. However, it let him go after a quick flash of light. The rest of the day was being poked at by the medical staff and teased by the other students.

What concerned Kenith was what the machine quietly said before the control system shorted out: EXPOSURE TO LUNAR-REACTIVE RADIATION COMPLETE.

Possibly something like werewolf syndrome, he thought firmly. And it doesn't help that tonight is a full moon. Oh well, might as well see how it turns out.

The moon was now visible from his window. Kenith turned off his lights and bathed in the moonlight.
