You decide to follow Luis to 5th St. You can see it just ahead of you. You can see the crowd of people moving. “Just blend into them and you’ll be home free.” Luis whispers to you. Just 15 more feet. You breathe a sigh of relief just as the police cruiser whips around the corner into the alley. “Fuck!” Luis screams as he takes off running the other way. Another cruiser comes speeding in from 4th street. You’re cornered. You look at the cruiser and put your hands up. You’re done.
