Keep the eights and the ace

“Two cards for me,” you tell Lin.

“Just one”, Lin says as she deals out the cards.

You look down and are amazed to see an eight and ace. “Full house,” you announce. You then watch the girls to see which one of them is likely to lose, but the expression on Lin’s face lets you guess the answer.

“Only aces for me,” Claire says turning over her hand.

“I didn’t get anything,” Lin sighs. You turn towards her expectantly and Lin sighs again. She starts unbuttoning her blouse, and then hesitates.
