Keep it

She left the silly idea that running around half-naked somehow made her better in combat behind. There was nothing like good armor to keep you from injury when you got hit. Some experimental twists and spear thrusts showed that it did, in fact, hinder her mobility a bit, though much less than she expected. It was almost like wearing a semi-rigid second skin.

She turned, grabbed her pack again, and set off towards the door. The armor intrigued her, as she had never seen any with a tone like this before. Plus, its' method of wear was unique, fitting itself perfectly to her form with just a thought, and held together by nothing more than magic.

Now armed and armored, she felt ready to actually take on almost anything once more. Stepping out the front entrance, she stood in the deepening shroud of nightfall, trying to make up her mind: Get on with her journey, or rest?
