Katie sat on the couch and passed one of the drinks to Violet. She took a sip from her own, looked at Violet, and said, "I will pass, V." She saw Andre take the rolled-up 100-dollar bill and snort a line of coke.

It's not that she hadn't done **** before; she had some weed back in college. But she knew it was a bad idea, now that she had a new job. Katie thought how proud Tom would have been of her decision which made her smile.
