Kai

A retainer of Ujiyasu Ujiyasu, Kai is a maiden raised since birth to be a warrior. Instilled with strict training from her clan, she secretly desires to live as a normal woman of her class. Wanting to protect her home and family, however, she fights with daring, masculine pride. Her experiences in war somewhat matures her flippant tendencies over time, as she eventually values the responsibility of protecting something important to her. She is close friends with her lord's daughter, Lady Hayakawa. Commonly teased for being a 'bear' of a woman, Kai, while being mildly insulted by this, only fights harder for the protection of those close to her. Wanting to experience what it feels like to be a 'normal' woman, Kai considers using her body to pacify others through sex, rather than combat.
