Kacey Musgraves

Despite all of the commercial and awards show success that Kacey Musgraves has had, she's always considered the underdog for most country music awards, and sharing a nomination for Favorite Female Country Artist with Carrie, Miranda, Cassadee, and the irrepressible Reba McEntire left Kacey fighting an uphill battle.

So out of all her country peers, she was the one who responded to the contest the earliest, figuring she would have a better chance of picking and choosing who she decided to contact.

All of your life, you have always swung more on the "traditional" side of the country music fence, so the chance, however slim it was, to meet Kacey was one you relished.

You'd be lying, though, if you said that the other thing that drew you to her wasn't her insanely long legs, so once you had started an e-mail chain with her, you knew you were going to try and get more than just a night on the town, or whatever else you figured these girls would try to impress you with to keep you out of their panties.

"Kacey, I would love to meet you out there. I have always wanted to go to a show there," you tell her when she suggests to you that you should come meet her and hang out with her at a historical honky tonk in her home state of Texas on her dime.

And if she was going to fly you out to her home state on her dime, it was pretty clear to you that she wanted to show you a good time.

How good would probably be up to you.
