Just some beers...for now

You decide to keep things light for now, but she starts dropping hints about being shy and you think maybe a little liquid lubrication might go a long way. After getting a flight of samplers, Jane chooses an amazing red, while you stick with your preferred stout.

You find out the Jane moved around a lot when she was in school, and that she wasn't keen on having roommates in college. You know exactly why and you don't push. She does say that she has a friend, Sam, who knows all of her secrets, and after her third beer, she pulls out her phone and shows you who Sam is.

At the same time she does that, you slide your foot along hers under the table after taking your shoe off. She immediately tenses and takes a pull off of her beer before relaxing just a little bit. You continue playing footsie with her and she's blushing so hard it looks like her ears are burning.

"Here, this is Sam," she said and turned her phone around to you. You keep stroking her foot and ankle with your toes and you watch her she bites her lip as she presents her phone. You're halfway up her calf when you take a look at the screen. "Sam is the only person in the world who knows all my secrets...we know all of each other's, really."

As your eyes focus on the screen, you accidentally drop your fork...
