Just one final jump away...

"Another Skybot coming in on a strafing run. The turret is locked on to you guys!" Jane screams. "Come on, Celeste. We are taking way too much fire out here."

The air is filled with hot metal as Hugo opens up on the approaching Skybot, distracting it from the ship.

As you leap into the ship you tell Jane to scan their communications. Hugo stops firing on the bot and leaps onto the cargo ramp and slams on the door controls. The ship accelerates with a sudden forward lurch and you think you see Hugo take a hit from a high caliber round just before the ramp door closes shut.

Your thoughts are halted when Hugo clambers for a seat while the Magnum is quickly accelerated. You hear a rapid succession of three swooshes as Jane fires missiles at the approaching Skybots. You watch as the missiles make their way to their targets. The Skybots explode one after another, raining burning debris on your pursuers who have now spilled out on to the balcony. You take a good look at them as you make your escape.

"Evictor Mercenaries, huh? Life sure knows how to be hard on me," you mutter and chuckle to yourself as they move away from the reactor complex.
