Just keep following the path

Eventually you come to a closed-in area, wide and possessing four walls above the water, and at the other end... the exit!!! The water is only shallow enough to cross over along the four paths across the deep pool, the others possessing incredibly deep water too dark to see into.

But as you walk towards the first path something very discouraging happens... a rather playful-looking water dragon pokes its head above the water, looking rather like a traditional Loch Ness Monster with its body and fins, but its draconic head is comical and cute. It makes noises down at you.

"Ghrruur?" it merfs, canting its head to the side. It sniffs the air and leans closer, pushing you back a couple feet along the path in fear... it grins wider when it smells you... oh my, it wouldn't be able to smell your arousal from before, would it? It gets between you and the exit, spreading its body across the nearest two paths and watching you carefully.
