What do you say?
Just enough of the truth
"Miss Keebler," you say, deciding to show respect (at least at first), "he was just asking me about something he and I traded in another class!"
"Oh!" she says, surprising you by (thankfully) asking for no further details. "I just thought I heard my name."
"You did," you say back, adding honesty to the show of respect. "He was asking if you and I had any history."
"History?" the pretty brunette asks, seeming amused.
"Sexually," you reply with a confident smirk..
"Uh, no!" she says, laughing nervously, before turning to your classmate. "We don't, and I doubt we ever will." She rolls her eyes dismissively as she turns to continue conversing with your "sister" but you decide to interrupt.
"Well, don't say THAT!" you tell her, returning her laugh with a hard edge. "How could you rule anything out?"
You see Miss Keebler go red as if she was already worried about appearing racist even though you didn't suggest it (yet). "I... I normally wouldn't," she insists, turning to face you still another time, "but I see no reason why any such thing would take place..."
How do you respond?
