Your cry to Shayera came almost too late, for the energy constructs nearly squashed her. But she literally dropped down out of danger, riding the air currents into an upward curve.

While you were glad that Hawkgirl was safe, he turned his attention back towards Cheetah. She growled softly at you, with a bit of a grin. In retaliation, you kneed her in the chest and then pushed her off with your feet while she was momentarily off-guard. She groaned as she staggered backwards on her feet, and you rise up to tackle her to the ground, twisting her arm behind her back as you pin her for good. Star was irked by you, saying, "You are truly bothersome." She charged up her jewel to attack, but then was bashed in the head hard by the same mace and lay knocked out on the roof.

"Join the club." Hawkgirl landed softly beside you, grinning at you. And you grin back at her. You both tie up all three villains, and called J'onn for pickup. You and them. He informed that the authorities are on their way before you both got beamed back up to the Watchtower.

Back 'home', you and Shayera went your separate ways and you wanted some alone time. Your footsteps softly thud against the floor while you were deep in thought: these nanobots take too long to improve themselves, never mind you. You paid enough attention through peripheral vision to wait for your bedroom door to open before going inside.
