Jump over it

Looking at the rough and uneven terrain in front, without thinking twice Mei used her momentum to jump over it, yet her maneuver didn't cover enough distance and she ended up stumbling before resuming her sprint.

Looking back the man seemed to have her same idea, jumping over the patch of terrain in her same manner, but his movements were far smoother and perfect, letting him overcome the rough terrain and resuming his sprint, the distance in between the two rapidly shrinking.
