Joseph "Joe" Reed: Amateur Furry Breeder

It all started with getting his first furry pet. A cute little rabbit girl that he called Bella. Joe got her when he was a kid, and since furries have a relatively similar lifespan to humans, the two grew up together. Joe was a bit of a dork, and while he had friends of his own growing up, he was closer to Bella more than anyone. Eventually, when Joe and Bella got to the age to become sexually active, they took each other's virginities and kept having sex while Joe was finishing college. Their continued relationships would end with Bella getting pregnant. It wasn't a big deal for the most part as human-furry pregnancies were pretty short, but when the bunny-child was born, Joe didn't know what to do with it. He was fresh out of high school, and his parents weren't that financially secure to try and raise a half-furry. The only other option was to sell the kid to a good home; even though half-furries were half-human, they'd still be treated as furries until they prove that they have the mental capacity of a human.

When Joe looked up prices for young half-furry bunnies, he was shocked to see how much money they would sell for. At first, Joe thought he was looking up prices for a car. While Joe wanted to make sure his kid went to a good home, not many people could afford the price. Eventually, he found a Furry Breeder that wanted a brood mother for his furries and promised to take good care of the half-furry. Joe agreed, and while he and the breeder were working out the details, Joe learned more about Furry Breeding. It was basically a rancher's job but without any slaughter (eating furries has been deemed cannibalism) and focusing more on raising furries to be pets, show animals, and other things that the clients want.

Joe had been out of high school for some time, and while he was thinking about going to college, he wasn't sure what he wanted to do. But after learning how much half-furries cost and with how dutiful he was in making sure his half-furry child got into a good home, Joe had decided to try his hand at Furry Breeding as well. (His decision may have been influenced by the fact that he and Bella still had regular sex and she was showing signs of another pregnancy by the time he sold off their first child.)
