You decide that its best to talk to John now and pull him out of his conversation.

"John, we need to talk,"
"What-"John starts, but you interrupt him.
"Somewhere private."

John nods, seemingly understanding what this is about, and you go to Lydias room, which is unlocked.
You close the door while John sits down on the bed. "Is this about-" he says, and you nod.
"i´ll try to keep it short. Lydia knows. She already knew everything about your cage, and now she also know about mine."

John eyes widen. "how- from where-

"Thats unimportant. Point is, she's been wearing the key to my...you kno what around her neck all evening. I thought that would be good for you to know."

John nods. "What do we do now? Cancel the bet?"

“What happens to the money then?”

"Good question. Does she have my keys too?"

"I think she might" You try not to give an direct answer. "You do realize that this can't come out and Lydia has already drunk, like, a lot?" John agrees with you as suddenly the door bursts open.
