John gets too close to the fabric

One of the red rolls began to unfurl and wrap itself around John's body. "Hel-" he managed to scream before the fabric closed around his mouth. The satin material felt soft and silky against his skin. From the outside he looked like a human shaped roll of red satin.

Petra and Jacqueline approached with caution. "He must of got too close to the fabric," said Petra, "When will they learn."

"We have to cut him out," said Jacqueline, "He could die in there!"

Jacqueline tried to grab a pair of scissors, but Petra grabbed her wrist. "He is fine, my pet. Do you really want to let him out before she is done?"

At those words the fabric began to shutter and jostle. The sound of twigs snapping as the fabric's shape began to change to a smaller size.

"Need I remind you, Jacqueline, how you came to be here in the first place," said Petra making sure to squeeze Jacqueline's wrist harder. "Disobey me and you will end up like every person who crosses through those doors."
