John and Karyn talk about the power.

John shrugged. "Okay, sure. I'm kind of curious about it, too. Maybe we can figure something out together."

Karyn grinned, her face lighting up. "Just like old times, eh?" She held up her hand, fingers curled into a fist.

John chuckled, giving her a grin of his own, and bumping fists with Karyn. "It's really good to have you back."

Karyn smiled, a hint of a blush on her cheeks. "It's good to be back." Karyn pulled her fist back, placing both of her hands in her lap and stretching her arms forward. This had the (presumably) unintended effect of squeezing her breasts together, a sight which was not lost on John. "So this 'Voice' of yours. What do you remember about what it said? Specifically. You have a habit of ignoring details and signs sometimes."

John pulled his eyes away from Karyn's magnificently accentuated cleavage, and scratched his chin for a moment. "Well, it was weird. I was just sort of sitting around one day, when suddenly everything around me seemed to freeze. Time just kind of stopped. And then there was this voice out of nowhere starts going on about how 'John of Brady' has been willed THE POWER, and that there are no limits and stuff, time was stopped so I could get the gift, and any wishes get turned into reality."

John was carefully evasive on some of the details - he knew the power applied to him and his wishes, but he still wasn't ready to tell Karyn that little detail, that it had been his wish that had changed her body into that of a blonde bimbo.

Karyn pursed her lips, frowning as John finished. "Hmm, that is pretty vague. But it sounds like any changes need to be made in the form of a wish, and that there aren't any limits on it. I'm a little confused why it also affects anyone near you, though. That voice said it was your gift, right? So why would it work when I made a wish?"

John had always liked Karyn's sharp mind, but now he almost wished she wasn't as good at putting the pieces together (he made sure he didn't ACTUALLY make that wish, though - that would be very, very bad). Thinking quickly, John came up with a plausible lie.

"I'm not really sure. I guess the first time it happened was when I was at a bus stop a couple days ago. It was raining, and the guy next to me wished the rain would let up. In a minute, the rain was all gone. I didn't think anything of it at the time, but I guess it makes sense now."

John hoped that would be good enough to placate Karyn for the time being, and it seemed like it was. She nodded, giving him a shrug. "I guess it's just something we'll figure out eventually." Karyn pushed herself up, moving to sit next to John on the bed, and causing him to blush slightly as she got closer. "So...how about we give this thing a whirl, see what we can do with it?"
