Jessie gets hurt

Nick and Jessie started carrying things in, Nick made sure to take all of the heavier boxes, knowing that while his wife wasn't out of shape, she also wasn't the weight lifting type. Even so, after he put the box he was carrying down and turned back to get another, he saw her put her foot down in the wrong place, used to the number of porch steps at their old home. "Jessie!!!" he yelled, as she tripped and fell backwards. Before long she was being loaded into an ambulance, while the doctors told Nick that she didn't have a concussion, and that she'd be better in no time.

"I'll go with you to the hospital." he said, but she waved her hand weakly.

"You finish unloading the boxes, Nick. We need to get them all inside."

He didn't like it, but she was right, and the doctors had said she was fine. He was still a little worried, but he moved all of the boxes into the house.
