Jason interferes

You take Vanessa's arm and turn to leave, only to find Jason standing in your way.

"You're not leaving Vanessa. We're not finished talking."

"Jason..." Vanessa begins plaintively.

"The lady is leaving. If she wants to talk to you later, she'll let you know," you say with a smile, starting to steer Vanessa around the young man.

"Fuck you!" Jason hisses, grabbing your arm. You stop and look at his hand, then up at his face. "Yeah, stare all you like you old fucker. Vanessa is staying here."

You smile at him politely, disengaging yourself from Vanessa. "The lady is leaving and I'll thank you to take your hand off me."

He jabs a finger into your chest scornfully. "Like you have any say it, fuckhead! Run away before I beat your old ass." The sound of conversation in the room stops as people stare at the confrontation.

"Jason, stop this!" Vanessa squeaks in dismay. "I'll talk to you tomorrow."

"You'll fuckin' talk to me now, bitch!" he snarls turning his attention from you for an instant and reaching a hand out to grab her. As he turns his head you drive your hand into his throat, a clenched fist with a thumb protruding. He staggers and falls to his knees, and bending over, gasping for breath, holding his throat. The room seems to grow even more silent as you turn to Vanessa and take her arm again.

"Let's get you out of here," you say, leading her out of the building.
