Andy take a deep breath, and decide to go for it.

"So uh... hey Jasmin... how's your week been so far?" As soon as the words leave your mouth you cringe inwardly at such a lame conversation starter.

"Oh hmm? Not too bad I guess, same old same old" Jasmin responds, barely looking up from her phone.

Andy decides to push on. "Any new developments on the boyfriend front?"

"Oh, you know, hung out with a few guys at school, went for some drinks, installed Tinder. There's this one guy I met on there, he's a bit older than us, but our date went really well! I'll probably meet him for drinks once we're back home, see where it goes."

Damn, Andy thought, Jasmin moves fast! Barely a month out of her last relationship and she already has new guys! He's tempted to just give up, but wonders if maybe he could express his interest....
