Jamie sees a friend

After one particularly funny joke left Jamie hand gabbing for anything to grip on to for support, which ended up being Mark's thigh. In that innocent motion, Jamie's hand had gripped onto something else in Mark's pant which Jamie didn't notice but Mark certainly did. It was during that moment that Jamie saw someone out of the corner of his eye.

Natalie was watching the cute couple flirting with each other from across the diner with just a pinch of jealousy. When the woman spotted her looking, Natalie looked away, embarrassed but still stealing glances out of the corner of her eye. The woman got up and assured her boyfriend that she would be back with a rub of his hand and then started head toward Natalie.

“Hey Nat,” She said sashaying over.

“Uh...hi,” Natalie said, taken aback.

“It's good to see you. So much has happened, I don't even know where to start,” she said, sitting down with Natalie.

Natalie was sure she had seen this woman before. That was why she was looking at her in the first place. The woman was telling her a story but Natalie couldn't keep up, her mind too preoccupied. The woman was pretty. Really pretty, which even Natalie had to admit.

“And now I don't know what to do,” Jamie finished.

It felt good to unburden himself to her. He and Natalie had been friends for years and she was on his list of people to call. She couldn't figure out how to respond, which Jamie understood why. He talked with her a little bit and gave her the phone's number for the time being.
