Jade messages Jason

Jade quickly got her phone out, and fired off a text to her ex-boyfriend’s number. If that didn’t work, she’d just call him, she decided.

In the end, she didn’t need to. Jason felt a vibration coming from his pocket. Irritated that it had distracted him from fully conquering Mrs Wilder, he wanted to ignore it, but decided to check it just in case it was really important.

To his total surprise, the message was from the ice queen, Jade, herself. The text was laden with typos, implying that it was written in a rush. The text said something to the effect of: I know what you’re doing. Come outside the house NOW!!

Jason looked at the time, realizing that dismissal time had passed a while ago. He grinned to himself. So Jade knew he was here, huh? She must’ve come upstairs and seen him and her mother about to get it on... or maybe she simply saw his van outside, and surmised that he was inside the house. In any case, the question was, what should he do now?
