Jack Soaks His Arm

"The best way to ease the pain of the healing is to soak the arm in warm water. " Johnny said. "There are a number of unlocked hotel rooms upstairs. You can go take a warm bath in one of them."

"Oh. Okay." Jack nodded, his arm starting to throb. "That actually sounds really nice. I haven't had a bath in days now and I've been in the scorching sun of West World the whole time."

"Yeah. I must smell disgusting too." Phyllis crinkled her nose.

"Well, I'm going to go take a bath then." Jack said to her and started to the stairs.

"Are you going to be okay?" Phyllis asked. "Do you need any help?" Jack stopped in place and his face heated up. He turned around and saw Phyllis' face was red too. "I...uh...meant that in regards to your arm."

"I know. I...uh...I think I'll be okay." Jack responded and hurried upstairs as quick as he could before he died of embarassment. He ducked into the first room and shut the door behind him. He got into the bathroom and saw the porcelin tub in the corner. The water still worked, thankfully, and Jack filled the tub with water before getting undressed. He stepped into the water and slunk down, letting the warm liquid cover his body and soothe his arm. He sighed in relaxation, closing his eyes to enjoy his bath.

After a few minutes, he heard a knock at the bathroom door. "Jack?" Phyllis' voice echoed from beyond the door. "Are you in there?"

"Yeah." Jack answered, opening one eye.

"Can I...er...can I come in for a second?" She asked timidly.
